Shoulder Injury And JACO Bag Review

"OH NO!" I thought to myself as I woke up yesterday morning as my shoulder was throbbing with pain, I know the culprit was Brazilian jui jitsu but It only hurt a little at practice when I rolled out of a half assed arm bar. The pain came the next day. I stretched it out in the morning but to no avail. To top it off as I went into my bathroom yesterday morning at spider bit me on my back =( Geez laweez Satan was really trying my spirit lol. Well anyway I went through the motions at work hoping my shoulder would feel better...it DID NOT. I Decided to skip practice yesterday (I'm glad I did) I went home and got my nifty new JACO bag I ordered after looking at it and playing with some of the compartments(More on this later) I took at well deserved nap. After my nap my shoulder felt better, I would say it was at about 505 which is better than earlier in the day when i contemplated going to the hospital =(. The moral of this awkward rambling story is........................wait for it.............. Sleep is sometimes the BEST medicine. Some days you have to take a rest day and listen to your body. Training while you are injured will only be a greater hindrance in the long run. Today I will be right back in the gym aerobic muay thai then muay thai then BJJ (we will probably have to run as well) but I know I will be able to push through it and make it all because I made the conscious and right decision to take a day off. If you really are working towards a goal one day off will not hurt you but don't get this confused with being lazy or just quitting on yourself you have to know the difference. And that's all he (me) wrote.

Now on to a review of my MMA JACO Bag. This bag is HUGE like when I first opened the package I didn't think it was that big but then I Unfolded it lol. It cost a lot of money well to me anyway ($106) but I think it was worth it. I tested it out as soon as I got it. I can fit my Gi, 16oz boxing gloves, muay thai shorts, mouth guard, wallet, hand wraps, phone, water bottle and shin pads in it all at once. that's without using the expandable sweat portion for storage. Since I take the train to train (see what I did there) everyday its really useful for me and convenient. It has a side compartment that is insulated so it will keep things hot or cold whichever you prefer. If you train for 3+ hours a day as an amateur or pro fighter, you may want a snack or to keep water/drinks cold, this bag will do that. I highly recommend the bag it seems really sturdy. Since it is so spread out the weight distribution is really easy on my back which is a plus. You can rock the bag as a book bag or as a duffel bag with the detachable duffel bag shoulder strap. It has breathable mesh on the sides to which is really useful. If you are a MMA practitioner/serious fighter, BJJ practitioner, boxer, Martial artist and maybe even a couple of other sports like soccer and rugby you need this bag. I am still bummed that I spent so much money on a bag but I know I will be using this for a long time. I will post a picture and some websites where you can check the bag out for yourself.
